I have worked with all kinds of clients from bloggers, network marketers and so many small business folks. My superpower is that I am able to put myself in my client's shoes to really understand what they need for their business - not just push ideas I like on them and especially not just jump on the latest design trend - hello shelf life! My goal always is to create a unique design that you love, that has come from your heart and big beautiful mind and has your personality shining all the way through. That's how we make you stand out!
The biggest area I help my clients overcome is getting consistent! When most of my clients start working with me, they have no idea what they want or need so I put their ball of ideas into a consistent, visually strong theme that's intentional for their business. Through creating a full brand identity I help deliver that consistency through their platforms, through their feeds and most importantly the consistency needed through their message and how it is delivered. The motivation this brings is a huge bonus!
My clients describe me as patient, supportive and full of creativity, ideas and enthusiasm - exactly the values I strive to deliver in my business. I always aim to be open, honest and approachable in my methods and nature as I can possibly be because kindness is important to me. Treating others how I want to be treated is important to me. Leaving a positive lasting impression by how I made someone feel is (you guessed it!) super-duper important to me. Best part of my job though? The 'oh my gosh, I LOVE it!' feedback when my clients see their new branding. My work here is DONE!!
I am mega proud of the fact that I am self-taught and I am happily a lifelong learner. I have 10 years of experience in small biz ownership and graphic design juggled with 20 years of experience in customer service, sales and visual merchandising from my previous career in retail management. If you like the sound of paper credentials I have a degree in photography I could dazzle you with, but let's get real - practical uni courses? We were really just there for that boozy student life right?
I live way up north in the UK, in the wonderful city of Newcastle upon Tyne with my better half, the best little person we ever did make and our very clingy cat, Binx. In January 2021 I did the big scary thing and went self-employed as a freelance graphic designer/small biz owner which is awesome because I can be there for my family, have time to do all the fun things together whilst being in charge of my own career, schedule and finances - and I want all that for my clients too! Like, what are you waiting for? let's get that small biz seen!!
